Mohawk Soaring Club Dues and Fees

ONE-TIME INITIATION FEE:
$250 - All new members are required to pay this nonrefundable initiation fee
which is used to cover the Club's Capital expenses and needs. It may be paid in 4
quarterly payments of $62.50.
ANNUAL DUES:
$540 - Annual dues of $540 ($45/month) are paid by all members to cover the
Club's fixed operating costs. Dues also pay for the Club's affiliation with the Soaring
Society of America (SAA), and all members of the Club receive the SSA's monthly magazine, SOARING. The Club's Treasurer
typically bills members on a quarterly basis. For additional family members in the same
household, and Club members who only fly privately-owned gliders, dues are 50% off or
$22.50/month
CLUB SHARE:
$100 -- In order to fly solo or as pilot-in-command of a Club-owned ship, a
refundable Club share of $100 must be purchased.
FLIGHT FEES:
For the newcomer, a limited membership is $80 and entitles a non-member to one
soaring flight and 30 days of limited membership. During this 30 days, the limited member
can soar again at normal member rates:
